Port Brewing & The Lost Abbey will once again be hosting an annual Beer for Boobs fundraising event in support of the Susan G. Komen philanthropic trust and The 3 Day event to help find a cure for breast cancer.
Beer for Boobs Fundraiser
Details:
Friday, September 21, 2012
4:00pm – 9:00pm
$10 gets you a commemorative Beer for Boobs pint glass and two pints of any regular Lost Abbey or Port Brewing beer on tap.
Come support the Team from White Labs as we host our annual event in support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
Who should attend:
Anyone who has breasts, knows someone who has breasts, or supports breasts in any way shape or form.
The tradition of pre-arrogant decadence continues!
Once again we’ll be feeding the masses before the annual sojourn up the hill to attend Stone’s Anniversary Celebration. As in years past, the Tasting Room will open at 8:30am with an incredible carb-laden spread and 42 taps of fresh Port Brewing / The Lost Abbey beers.
Should we pick you up for brunch or just nudge you?
What: Pre-Stone 16th Anniversary Brunch
When: Saturday, August 18, 2012 – 8:30am to 11:30am
How Much: No entry fee. Food is free. Standard pricing for beers.
But wait — there’s more! This year we’re taking it to even greater heights!
For the first time, we’re proud to announce our partnership with Churchill’s Pub & Grille and Executive Chef A.G. Warfield. Chef A.G. will be serving an epically and appropriately arrogant menu, perfectly prepped and paired for craft beer’s paramount party.
Carnivore, Vegetarian or Omnivore, you’re guaranteed to be impressed and well-sated by a buffet as impressive as the many beers to come throughout the day.
As always, the food is free and the tasters regular price. It’s just our — and Churchill’s — way of saying Happy Birthday to Stone and thanks to all the craft beer lovers of the world! (We’ll have more details on the beers and food next week as we get closer to the big event.)
Come early, come hungry, and be prepared for a day of stories from start to finish.
Don’t you hate it when you people show up uninvited to a party? They eat all the food, irritate your friends, and they don’t even bring any good booze. Well, that very thing happened to Chris and Matt of Washington DC after they made the mistake of posting that they were hosting a Lost Abbey tasting party a couple of weeks ago. Check out the video:
Last month we celebrated our 6th birthday! We had a huge party and invited all of our friends.
We had awesome music provided by The Flounders, Squarefish, and Silverline; we had great food provided by SlowCal BBQ, Red Oven Pizza, and Casanova Fish Tacos, and of course we had incredible beer! For those who missed out try to live vicariously through this video, and for those who did attend see if you made the cut.
The Craft Brewers Conference and The World Beer Cup have come and gone; we’re all a little groggy from a very eventful weekend. Time to make beer again. Our first brew of the week is 10 Commandments.
